Lifelong learning and professional development are a key component of the certification and recertification process. Each CS and CM must report the appropriate PDUs at the end of their three-year renewal period. The amount of PDUs is determined by the certification that is being maintained. It is recommended that all certified members complete a minimum of 4 PD activities annually. I also understand that I may use the ICPM credential on my resume, business cards, employment application, school admission applications, or for other business purposes provided my recertification status is current and I remain in good standing with ICPM. I understand that recertification is an annual requirement to maintain current certification status, and if I do not recertify, I must discontinue use of the credential. I further understand that recertification requires: (1) payment of an annual professional fee to ICPM, and (2) an annual completion of 4 professional development activities to maintain my management and leadership competency.
