Sharon Horner

Ms. Sharon Horner, MBA, CNSA, CM, is a strategic management professional, consultant, and
project leader with experience advancing organizational performance through strategic
planning, operational improvement, program development, process optimization, and data-
informed decision-making. With an interdisciplinary background spanning business, nonprofit,
technology, project management, and organizational operations, Ms. Horner approaches
leadership with a focus on collaboration, continuous improvement, and meaningful results.
While, bringing a practical and systems-focused perspective to leadership and organizational
development.

As a Strategic Operations Consultant and Project Manager, Ms. Horner provides strategic
planning and operational support to organizations seeking to improve efficiency, strengthen
processes, and build sustainable systems for growth. Her experience includes developing
scalable workflows, strengthening stakeholder engagement, improving organizational
accountability, and creating performance-tracking systems that support real-time decision-
making and measurable outcomes.

As a Certified Manager (CM) since April 2013, Ms. Horner has maintained a longstanding
commitment to professional management excellence and continuous development. As a
member of the ICPM Board of Regents, Ms. Horner also serves on several committees.

Ms. Horner holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management and a Bachelor
of Business Administration in Marketing with a B2B Specialty from Davenport University as well
as degrees in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Technology,
Robotics/Industrial Technology and Controls. This multidisciplinary foundation allows Ms.
Horner to connect business strategy, technology, project management, and operational
execution.

Beyond her professional work, Ms. Horner values opportunities to contribute to the community
and support the development of others thru volunteering and mentoring. Dedicated to lifelong
learning, professional excellence, and community impact, Ms. Horner is a lifetime member of
Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society, NSLS/Sigma Alpha Pi Honor Society, and Phi Theta
Kappa Honor Society and has contributed to professional leadership through the Detroit
Economic Club as an Inaugural member of the Young Leader Executive Board.
