Rayford Horne

Rayford Horne, MBA, MPM, CM, is a seasoned engineering, operations, and manufacturing professional based in the Atlanta metropolitan area. With nearly 30 years of experience in engineering, operations, and manufacturing, Rayford blends deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to drive cross-functional collaboration, process optimization, and employee engagement that deliver mission-critical results.

A Certified Manager (CM), he serves on the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) Board of Regents. He has been a member of the National Management Association (NMA) since 1999, holding leadership positions at the local, regional, and national levels since 2012, and serving on the NMA Board of Directors (Associate & National Director) since 2016, where he advances leadership-development practices, enhances communications, strengthens member engagement and recognition, and shapes professional-development strategy.

Previously, Rayford contributed to professional and community organizations as a former member of the South Carolina State University Industry Advisory Board for the School of Science, Math, Engineering, and Technology; a former participant on his employer’s Employee Communications Council and Diversity & Inclusion Council; board member of the Polk County (Georgia) Chamber of Commerce; and a former mentor and leader with the 100 Black Men of America (Rome, Georgia chapter), focusing on youth mentorship, education, economic development, and community-service initiatives.

He holds a Master of Project Management and a Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from South Carolina State University. He is also an alumnus of the Leadership Polk (Georgia) Community & Economic Leadership Program.
