Nancy Bennett, MAM, CM

Nancy Bennett is a seasoned enablement and governance leader with more than three decades of experience advancing organizational performance, strengthening workforce capability, and aligning strategy to execution across complex, cross-functional environments.

She serves as Manager of Enablement and Strategy at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where she leads enterprise Learning and Development initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, accelerate business readiness, and support large, diverse teams in achieving strategic priorities. Her work focuses on building structured, sustainable approaches that improve how organizations develop talent and execute at scale.

Nancy is an active leader within the National Management Association (NMA)—the leadership development organization—where she serves as a lifetime Director, Board member, and Professional Development Committee Chairperson. In these roles,  she contribute to advancing leadership development practices, strengthening member engagement, and shaping professional development strategy.

She also serves as Chair of the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) Board of Regents, where she leads governance alignment, strengthens board engagement, and supports strategic planning efforts that advance the organization’s mission and long-term impact. Nancy is recognized for bringing clarity and structure to governance processes, enabling more effective decision-making and stronger alignment across leadership and stakeholder groups.

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Nancy partners with executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to lead complex initiatives that drive meaningful, measurable improvements in efficiency, capability, and organizational effectiveness. She is particularly effective at connecting governance, learning strategy, and execution to deliver consistent, sustainable results.

She holds a Master of Arts in Management from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling and long-distance running, drawing inspiration from new experiences and challenges.
